Accounting

The platform splits accounting in two, and the split is a business decision as much as a technical one.

The Slovak pack

VAT

VAT types, the evidence behind them, the return and the control statement. Returns are versioned: a correction is a new version rather than an overwrite, because a filed return is a fact and cannot be edited into a different one.

Output is XML in the form the authority expects.

Bank

Statements are imported in the camt.053 format. Payments are matched against invoices by the payment reference, and a matched payment is recorded through the same door a manual one uses — so it settles the invoice, stops the reminders and lands in the trail.

Posting rules turn statement lines into entries. They refuse rather than guess when a line would post a credit somewhere it should not.

Documents become entries

An invoice, a credit note or a purchase invoice posts to the ledger. The document stays the document; the entry is what accounting works with.

Numbering and references

Payment references, constant and specific symbols are configured per organization and per document type. They are what makes automatic bank matching work at all.
